I can't believe I am saying this, but I hope that we keep Cloke next year, he is still young enough to have a long term future with us.

Aisake is a gamble, but one worth taking at the moment.

This is excellent news - will be a proud moment for his parents back in Ireland to have them both representing this club when he debuts

Publicity will be massive for the club if and when it happens.

Push him up. He is about as ready as Setanta was when he debuted. Put him in there and see what happens. Cameron will be kept. I think he was given assurances of this and hence chose season-ending surgery. He deserves it anyway. Has not put a foot wrong.

Go Sake!! :P

Let's hope your wrong SB because it would be galling to see Ackland get a free ride because he hasn't been injured.

Ackland is prime example of why we need to have perfomance based contracts.

No,

Ackland is given the one last chance....

Aisake is promoted and plays in Mel..next week giving his folks time to fly out for Adel at the TD.

And just to ensure he stays in....ask Ackland to to give him a shove in the changerooms b4 the Adelaide game to "fire himself up" a la Blake last year....that should ensure Ackland is placed on the LTI

Bring it on - 2x irish.

As for Cloke - he had done all that has been asked of him - has given it everything - but its time that this club started making hard decisions - not the soft cock stuff that our football department keeps dishing up. Cloke was always recruited as a stop gap ruckman while Aisake, Hamson and Jacobs develop. One or more will be ready next year. Cloke will never be an elite ruckman or an elite KPP - cut him.

Wooo! Do it.

Setanta FB and Aisake in the ruck to provide even more contrast to the disintested Ackland.

Would much prefer Setanta/Aisake as a ruck duo though :P

Ponky, I don't think there would be too many trying to treat Zaky like Murph! 8)

TS, It was "Dean the Dumb" training tackle bag! :P

I think the club is doing the sensible thing of waiting till his rehab to see if he has recovered sufficieently for AFL. If his shoulder isnt up to it, there won't be a contract obviously

I would love it if they promoted Aisake, how awesome will it be to see two O'hAilpins terrorising the competition.

DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Playing Aisake jeopardises our chances of getting another priority pick. :P
