She's only good for one dance as she's too young to go the distance. |

Still yet to hear a player come out in support of the coach. |

At least hes had the guts to come out and say it as it is... not @#$%&! around with the same old crap excuses for the last 2 years like our 'master coach'. By the way Denis, you blame our skill level for the loss, but who is the person in charge of improving this area? YOU!! |

great attitude...well, it is an excuse because they make alot of mistakes. we are the clanger kings of the AFL. we really do need to weed out the players with poor disposal over time it is killing us. |

are you suggesting we made less skill errors than adelaide? unknowns like reilly, shirley, knights, doughty, van berlo..turn over rate was minimal.. these guys made minimal mistakes their disposal was clean their decision making was good. it was our attacking style of play that kept us in the match, we are great at scoring goals and getting into goal scoring positions we are also great at turning it over with simple disposal and decision making errors. i cringe every time when the ball is not in the hands of murphy, lappin or houlihan in our forward half |

Did Adelaide make less errors than Carlton yesterday? I think our ineffective kick count was much higher than theirs by the end of the game. |

It's about time someone among the playing group finally told it like it is. I'm so sick of hearing the "They're young and inconsistent" excuse week after week, and I get the feeling that Pagan himself is getting sick of it. These guys need to stop having others give excuses on their behalf and be accountable for their performances. |

Surely what Pagan says to the media and what he says to the players behind closed doors are two completely different things. If you hang your hat on what Pagan says in the presser in my opinion you are barking up the wrong tree. |

If you hang your hat on what Pagan says in the presser in my opinion you are barking up the wrong tree. Couldn't agree more. Not only that but where is Bentick criticisizing his coach. Sounds more like he is responding to a challenge . Maybe even a challenge the coach has issued. Fancy that. I think Bentick is actually saying the players have to take responsibility for letting the coach down, along with letting down supporters and themselves as a team. |

the board is full of anti-pagan zealots at the slightest wiff.. makes for interesting reading though..albeit a little delusional. |

Sorry BV - good thread but it's starting to go the way of the Carlton v Adelaide one. Will split the relevant stuff off and reopen. (EDIT - UNLOCKED) Cazz, HELLAS, give it up. None of this 'I will if he will' bullshit. I'll put on the most patronising voice possible and say that you're both more than capable of debating the topics. |

Very true. However, what he says to the media is what he is saying to US. That's why so many people are frustrated with him. Carlton supporters expect honest answers, and not the same stuff every week. |
