This is a pretty silly post. I think every one of our players would get a top 22 gig in say Richmond's side. The question should be which payers would get a top 22 gig in the West Coast, Doggs, Crows, Cats sides.

I think that Carazzo's form this season is exceeding Walkers and MOST teams would take him in their top 22.

I think that out of all of our players, the only one who who get a gig in West Coasts top 22 is Fev and Murph.

you didn't read my post properly and then start labelling it silly. if you read it properly it should have read players who would make ANY team's best 22, not richmond's or any one team's best 22.

Wiggins...

ok but seriously....

Stevens
Fevola
Murphy
Walker
Thornton
Scotland
Simpson
Fisher

All of these guys on current form would easily get a game in any other team.

Waite and Lappin would also get a gig I think.

Basically any of our top 10 players would.

Fev wouldn't get a game at Essendon*.
Murphy wouldn't get a game at the Eagles.
Scotland would be first picked at Collingwood.
Thornton would get a game at Hawthorn...
Houlihan would get a game at most of the free running sides (Dogs for example.
Wiggo would get a game at some of the stoppage-based teams. (Sydney for example)
Otherwise, who knows. And we will never find out.

If Courtney Johns can get a game I think Fev has a chance

Yep because Rowan Jones >>> Murphy

They still have to have excellent disaposal and Houlihan, despite what people say, has rubbish disposal of the ball. Woewodin was better during his last year at Collingwood.

I think Wiggo would get a game at most top teams because of his hardness and his work ethic. He's the perfect 21/22 player that can come off a bench and do a job. Unfortunately for him he's not in a top team who needs a stop gap solution player. We need to play the kids who have greater potential than the Wiggler and he's just getting in the way.

Any single player from our best 22 could get a game with most sides even WCE.

And DMac played for the Lions in the 04 GF which sort of proves my point. Every side has weaknesses, often covered up by the talent at their disposal. Put Judd Kerr and Cox in our side and we would have beaten the Lions, the Saints, the Pies, North, and maybe WCE (seeing they'd be without their best 3). Super elite talent has an immeasurable effect on a side, in what they do and the heat they take from the oppo that frees up lesser players. You could pick a really ordinary side from premeirship players. That hff delisted by the Dees and in WCE flag side, Luke Ablett and Sean Dempster and Paul Bevan, would they make us a better side? Josh Mahoney, delisted by a few Melbourne clubs and flag for Power (plus a couple of others in that side). Beau McDonald. Gary Moorcroft and Dean Wallis in a side that lost one game for the year.

I think we are 3-4 elite players away, and with all those high draft picks we have had and will have this year we have no excuse if we don't have those elite talents in navy blue over the next few years.

I agree with most of what you say but....Wiggins!

The Wiggler is not AFL standard.

He is an Enigma....he is enthusiastic....I would even guess that Simon is a pretty nice guy.

But one thing he aint is AFL standard.
