Congratulations to Saddington. He played quite well last week and I hope he continues to do so this week and in the future.

We are leaking goals something horrible so we need him at the moment!!

Lets hope they are only playing him to get him to the milestone and then he returns to the seconds where he belongs.

Bad choice. Complete dud and will be delisted at years end.

Guess you didn't watch last week's game? Complete dud is way too harsh. The guy is a competent footballer. And if it wasn't for injuries would have played in two grand finals for the Swans.

I met a girl in London once called Virginia Smirnoff (Gin Smirnoff). Interesting.......

McLaren did play in a Premiership team and he is in the same category.

The mere fact that Sydney let him go for a fourth round pick and that so many people on this thread are celebrating his one and only reasonable game since arriving shows how bad we are.

I would rather play Hartlett, Bower, Kennedy, Anderson than Saddington.

Paul Roos came out publicly and stated if he hadnt had a bad run with injuries he would have been an integral part of the Swans premership. We need some experience in the backline at the moment and I would much rather him down there than Whitnall.

well said Mark, I can't believe how people talk about some players on here - if he doesn't work out at Carlton so be it but we do need his experience out there and clearly Bower isn't ready.

Congrats to Saddo, hope last week helped his confidence and we get to see more of his solid marking in defence this week.

You are all entitled to your own opinions but I remember very clearly bagging the decision to recruit him in the first place.

He won't be there next year and if he is retained you can chalk us up for another bottom 4 finish.

We need to get the inexperienced players in now and blood them. We did it with Thornton (when we had no choice) and he is now a solid performer for us.

They are playing sado because Sentata is needed for the ruck. I would rather they left Sentata at FB and took a punt on one of the younger ruckmen.
