The Brisbane Lions have spread their recruiting talons overseas, employing the man who delivered Irish football star Setanta O'hAilpin to Carlton.

GO CARLOS, GO DENIS!

Would like to see Carlos get a game soon - let's see what he can do.

Means nothing.
If Carlton uses our "Irish Experiment" to foster good will to Irish clubs it will mean more than have someone on your books.
Use the Irsh guys from this and other websites to look out for us. Get the o'Halpin boys back to Ireland in our summer to talk up Carlton. Get o'Halpin brothers stories into the newspapers in Ireland.

Secondly, we have 2 Irish guys on our books as rookies, we are not going after any others in a hurry. You cannot fill your list up with long term projects. You need a good mix of players on your list and on your rookie list.

And lastly, GO CARLOS

i think its a rule that you can only have 2 on your list as international rookies at any given time as well, but they also become part of the total 6 rookies you are allowed to have on your lists

so its not exactly like you could go and get 10 of em, out them on your list and hope 1 or 2 come good.

I reckon we have done it right and got two kids that will play 100+ games for carlton
