Synbad, in hindsight (spelt wrong in hindsight, i think) who would be captain? So, given Stevens is out for the season, who? My money has always been on Big Red. Always will. |

Stevens' leadership wasn't exactly crash hot last year - he himself has admitted too much drinking partying etc (which i'm glad he did). The problem is not that Lance was selected but more a lack of an obvious choice. Stevens was not an automatic choice IMO. No one was!!! |

Apart from Whitnall and Stevens, the only blokes u could of given the captaincy to were Fev and Scotland.....Off field behaviour ruled those two out so Whitnall must've won the coin toss. Like it or not he's got the job so we should support him.............. until Murph gets the job in 2009. ![]() |

Collingwood boys Cox, Egan and Davis break team rules and are punished by not been selected the following week Whitnall breaks team rules by staying out past curfew. Uses excuse that he lost track of time as he didnt have his watch on. He must also have one of those old brick phones which don't have the time on it. We reward him with captaincy the following week. No wonder our club is miles away from the West Coasts and the Adelaides of this world. |

If Collingwood, West Coast and Adelaide start asking their players to jump off cliffs we should probably ask ours to do the same. |

Regardless of Adelaide and West Coast players jumping off cliffs, I'm glad we don't follow Collingwood's curfew initiative, otherwise we would've suspended Whitnall during the preseason. And that would've meant we may have lost the preseason premiership. Collingwood are experts at losing premierships. |

Richmond are shit because they cant make the hard choices.... They overate their players... and theyre a club living in the past.... In other words Richmond have the kind of mentality you do...
