Said the finger's good. Monday was tentative given marking the ball for the 2nd time. But today, it was a lot better but it will take another 2 weeks to get back to normal. Joked (I assume) that Pagan told him he's playing, and it'll be in the ruck.

Said we're hoping that Cloke's injury won't be season-ending, but that awaits tests.

Said that JK doesn't have the leap to go into the centre-bounces with real ruckman but he can do it around the ground. But then again, he'd seen him in the centre-bounces a few times.

Agreed it was a career defining performance for Waite on Riewoldt. Agreed he might be similar to himself in that in early days it was easy to fade out if he didn't have a job to do. But thinks he can really contribute now at CHB.

Thinks he'll be up forward and rotating into the midfield. Noted the hole in the midfield left by Stevo, and hoped he could add the experience to help the young blokes like Murph.

Said he wasn't sure about whether this was his last year, and he was just concentrating on enjoying his footy as it goes so quickly.

Feels it's important to have experience around the young blokes given that there are few older blokes now.

Lance has struggled because he had an interrupted preseason. Always knew he'd come out of his rut. Really good at directing the boys. Fev's body language is a real issue, and we've talked to him about that in the past. Doing that is the responsibility of the coaching staff and the players, and they've done it in the past. Hard on him because he's scragged, but those little things do create a problem for such a young side. Brendan understands that, but it's an issue of trying to avoid doing it.

Says the game against the Pies will be a good contest as they always are irrespective of ladder position.

If they wanted him to say something interesting, they'd send Fev in his place ;-)

commented that waitey is probably doing well because he has a role and isnt just floating around in the fwd line. Can explain Gibbs and Murphs rotation from midfield to forward/back flanks.

Waite is our rising star.

Only good move Pagan has made in 5 years.
