Archer takes the points over Koutafides while later picks i think we are better maybe and rookies about the same or we might beat them with Thornton. Another difference with them and us they still have a good midfield with Simpson,Grant,Harvey,Wells and Harris but when those 3 players go they should slide,their defence with Sinclair and Archer leaving will test them and their forwards with Thompson shouldn't harm them if he quits as they have a few good small forwards and Lachlan Hansen but their Ruck Division will be one of the best if not the best McIntosh and Hale,pity we couldn't target one of them. Oh yeh i thought Simon Wiggins was a second round selection,did we have 2 when we drafted Luke Livingston? |

Did I ever mention we should have recruited Daniel Harris at pick 11?..... re: Kangas...wouldnt get too carried away with them....their mainstays are Grant, Harvey and Simpson and they have been firing. When they retire along with Archer they will bottom out quicker than a Russian Nuclear Sub.... Aaron Edwards has been a handy pick up.... |

Livo and Wiggins were touted as early selections and indeed they were. Sporn not so much. It's not like we deliberately went out to pick utter gumbys, but with 7 years hindsight that's what we did. Although the three picks between Sporn and Wiggo make for depressing reading: 12 - Shaun Burgoyne 13 - Ashley McGrath 14 - Daniel Harris

Nice work Rambo Our kids do look classier. Remembering what their kids looked like at the same age as ours, and they make some names of players mentioned not on your (Rambo's list) who are on our list good reading: Aisake Hampson Jacobs Grigg Hartlett Bower Jamieson Benjamin Anderson Austin Edwards Jackson Blackwell Now we all know that at least 7 of those 13 players are going to play finals for us, if not all.

Imagine Walker, Burgoyne, Kerr, Murphy, K.Cornes, Cassisi and Gibbs playing in the one midfield. 
Chad and Kane Cornes could have been ours and it shits to me to tears that we overlooked two Glenelg players. 
And both landed at Port. 
North's kids are terrible.

Yeh i didn't put those guys on the list on the list as they haven't played yet or have played a little,i also messed up with Kangaroos Ed Lower Games: 4 2005 NAB AFL Rookie Draft,he should be on the rookies. Those guys you mention look good on paper but will have to wait a few seasons to see if they have been good picks. |
