Voss born to lead, ready to step up as senior coach - Grant Thomas.

A good read - Dying art of traditional power forward - Michael Voss.

Its all good and well to say its time to move Pagan on, but and it has been said i don't know how many times, our list of players at the club are far inferior to those lists at other clubs. I hate to say it we have a very average list of players. I shake my head in disbelief when i compare ours to others. Tell who is the messiah going to be?

The road is a very long one and a quick fix i.e another aspirin i.e like a new coach i don't believe will turn things around that quickly. For too long as a club we have had a quick fix mentality and look it has bitten us in the arse. The CFC has no one else to blame but itself i.e cheating the salary cap, trading away draft picks and poor recruiting.

The winter is going to be a long one. I fear it is going to be very cold and dark for awhile. Rome wasn't built in a day. Without the proper foundation we are screwed. THe CFC was built on Elliot and his henchman coupled with their dishonesty which was building a castle on sand which always doomed to fail.

Nice work Swanny. Good straight bat. So in other words just Pratt met with Matthews, and Swann had a personal meeting with Voss ;)

For all the hard work Pratt and later Swann etc have done off the field we will slip quicker into an even deeper puddle of mediocrity if Pagan is retained next year.

We already know what he's got to offer and it ain't good.

Good quote from GT..........................

Quote:
The thing that separates good coaches from great coaches is their ability to understand their players mentally, to create an environment that is harmonious and uplifting, and with the people-management skills to inspire, advise, support and direct their troops, irrespective of circumstances.

That quote pretty much sums up everything that Voss is and everything that Pagan isn't and will never be.

Our next coach has to be...................

Neale Daniher.

I like him, i like his passion, his committment to his players, the fact he got a lot out of average players etc. etc.

Daniher is the answer. Look at the way he handled his departure from Melbourne - first class. Look at the passion in his face when he walked off the ground - first class.

Daniher for coach in 2008.

Mate, that has got to be the worlds worst suggestion.True,Daniher is a very fine man.But he has coached the Dees for ten years. And what are they ? the most physically and mentally soft side of all time.

Neale Daniher, nice guy,but cant do anything for our club.

Best scenario would be for Voss to be the senior coach next year and Ratts to coach the Carlton Reserves. It's time to cut our affiliation with the Bullants.

Sad to see how all other games this round were competitive, between 1 to 4 goal losses and then US!

Enough is enough.

Voss coaching the 1s and Ratts coaching the twos?

Bloody hell that'd be good good.

Voss will instill the prick into this team that we have been lacking for some time.

If we were to get Voss, that'd have to be the biggest coup for this club since Barassi crossed from the Dees to coach us.
