I was surprised to read in The Age today that there are only 4 lefties at Carlton (Hawks/Pies have 14!). I'm trying to work out who they are….. Simmo Aisake ?? Young?? |

HUNTER! Just as good as Johnno but in a different way. A better mark and not as up himself. |

Sam Cranage was by far the best of them all. Jordan Doering was a close second. |

Kenny (9) Hunter! Absolute legend...... I remember reading an article by Wallsy a number of years ago where he stated that Hunter was the only player he ever coached who had an absolute disregard for his own wellbeing. He reckoned he was the only bloke he never, ever saw flinch or pull out of a contest. I guess it is a complement although Wallsy was basically saying he was crazy!! |

See, is Scotland actually a left footer? he's great on both sides but I'm not sure what his 'natural' side is. |

I am a left footer. Right handed...freakish skills. If only they had found me 12 years ago....sigh |

One from "left" field - Fred Stafford! He was actually a right footer but kicked the winner in the 1947 GF versus Essendon* with a valuable left snap with less than 1 minute to go. Got a framed photo of him doing it (signed) up in my hallway. Three Bombers bearing down to no avail. |

If you recall.....Brad Pearce kicked a defining goal with a right foot snap in the '95 GF. |

Great, I love these threads. I once saw Adam Bentick soccer the ball out of a pack, 20 meters towards the boundary line with his left foot. Brought a tear to my eye, that did. |
