I watched the first half of the replay last night and can I say one thing - WTF?

There would have been a good half dozen passages of play that the Fox Sports cameras did not get because they were showing too many replays of different passages of play.

A Jonathan Brown goal in the second was shown endlessly that we missed the ball up, us scoring a behind, the subsequent kick out that was marked by Merrett or the Aboriginal kid [not sure of the name].

Once the replay finished we FINALLY saw Murphy intercept the pass and kick the goal.

Not sure what was going on because it was damn annoying.

And that I was only one incident.

Did anyone else notice this?

Tommi there was no visible cut in the footage, just that they kept showing those damn replays and missing passages of play.

The Murphy goal would have been all of 6-10 seconds of play, hardly worth cutting out in the interest of highlights.

Did anyone watch the gasme live on Saturday night and if so, can you confirm what I saw last night?

Tommi's right DUC.

They cut the footage up and use replays to make the cuts seemless.

Then I'm pissed off!

And for the record they are not seamless becuase you can tell you have missed some footage.

Is Mister Magoo running Fox Sports now?

I watched it last night, and geez that was a great game.

That first half had me lickin' my lips. One on one footy and fast, open and our kids dominating.

I was going to post last night re THE MATCH OF THE DAY on FOXTEL to remind the fans that after 5 rounds of footy:

The Carlton Baby Blues have made the MATCH OF THE ROUND 3 out of 5 rounds.

There's a message in that!

We are a comin' and the kids are playing a good brand of footy (well most of the time), but definetely great for kids that don't even shave.

Watched that game. How about Fev turning around and giving a yallop to the umpire while the play was still going on - there was a great shot where Eddie comes out with the ball and he is almost looking at Fev's back, obviously looking to dish it out to him. That was funny TV.

They are cutting out parts of each qtr last time i checked, in the replays..

I rang up and inquired during the NAB cup and was told that it will be a full replay come season proper..

Last replay i watched (RD1) this season they were still doing it

Like Tommi said record live....

I don't want to burst your bubble, but I think the so called match of the Round is always a Foxtel Match and since we play so many Foxtel matches I think we will feature a fair bit. The best match we played in was probably the Essendon* game was it the match of the round that week? It was a Ten Game wasn't it?
If I'm right, at least Collingwood won't be featured, as they are always on free to air.
