Do you really think Murph wants to mind Koutas man as well as his own???

Gez you wouldnt wanna put too much pressure on the kid would you???

In the meantime ill take Bentick . over Kouta...

Synners, we need all the help we can get in there now. Murphy is the no.1 target with Stevens gone. At least Kouta can be effective offensively (albeit his opponent will esploit him).

You're only looking at it from one perspective - and most of us know where that is 8)

I can accept the anti-Lance sentiment as it is dribble from someone who just hates Lance Whitnall. I hate Fevola and always will no matter what his exploits but this comment is beyond belief. From someone's writing that purports to know all that is wrong with the Carlton Football Club, it really just proves that you have very little clue about the game. Sad, sad man.

So what you are sayin is leave Murph and AB in there and that should be enough??? Especially in and around the stoppages, Murph is getting smashed in tight at the moment, give the kid a few moments peace. Kouta is still one of the besst stoppage players around!

Is there anyway we could get a glove on Kouta and get him out there this week? I'm with the "we now need him more than ever" group and I'm glad he didn't retire now but we need him in the guts sooner rather than later.

Very happy with Walker, Scotto and Houla in here also by the way.

For goodness sakes will people like you just put the win/loss ratio in the background and accept that this is a development year for our youngsters.

Move on!!!

I think we all appreciate the development year thing, but we need some big bodies in there to take some of the physical heat off Murph etc.

Not sure about Scotto being a midfielder mate, love him on the back flank. We need more than 4 bodies rotating through there. Murph provides the real quality at the stoppages, Kouta in there providing some bulk and strength would be a bonus right now thats all pal.

By the way, the jury is still very much out as far as AB and Carrots go. Not sure whether either will be in our best 22 in a couple of years.

Carrots and Simmo have improved out of sight this year.

We've got to face life without Kouta.

AB's OK......his disposal is a bit like Blackwell sometimes.....lacks direction and depth; but he does burrow in for the ball.

No problems Budzy ... Lets just develop a loser mentality or as they call it now, "rebuilding". I hear teams with this type of mentality/culture win premierships!

Full steam ahead as far as I'm concerned ...no looking back.

Are you serious  . Why didn't some-one tell me this earlier.
Next you'll be telling me there are no peanuts being sold during match days at Princess Park, now that would do it to me.

He would be more than handy as a burst player like the bombers do with Hird.

Where did SB mention win/loss? :P

I reckon we need Kouta back soon, not because he's the future, but because he was once a great midfielder, every bit as good as we hope our kids will become. I get the feeling Kouta will aid our kids' development a lot more in the field of play than he will on the injury list.

But that's just me.
