I switched off as I couldnt watch Fevola continue to be humiliated. Why does he do it? He knows they are going to make fun of him. He was clearly pissed off by it as well. Pagan has said that he wishes Fevola would give it up. I wonder if he wouldnt be better of if he did?

Couldnt agree more, he obviously enjoys the spotlight but he is being made fun of and he looks like an idiot

What were they giving him crap about? I only saw the last 5 mins. Fev's just not quick enough on his toes to cope and dish out crap with these seasoned sh!t-stirrers

Fev was fine.

Infact it was bloody hysterical how Fev squirted Sam with the water cannon and Sam was so obviously fearful of getting him back.

Fev just kept on soaking that @#$%&! for ages.

Agree - why do you think Fev went on Current Affairs to be humilated if not to promote his restaurant. People do a lot for $$'s.......

Fev gets around $30k for the footy show per season....I'm not in favour of him being involved or being used as the fill in clown when Crawford isnt on the show...doesnt do much for his future leadership asperations either being seen as one of the shows clowns....

He didnt look like he was having a ball for the first 20 mins when Sam and Trevor were giving a him a hammering about his intelligence or lack of. This happens evertime he goes on the show. He is made to look like a prize flower.

I know he gets appearance money John M -crikey! I just dont think its good for him or the club that he is made to look stupid.

Fevola is one of the most popular carlton people with Non-Carlton fans and its because he is willing to have some fun on the footy show.
He speaks positively of the club and team and I reckon he's fine on the show.

The only uncomfortable moment I noticed was when fev was doing a match review and his mobile rang. Lyon asked Hodge if it was his phone. Fev said I think its mine and picked it out of his jacket and said "yeah, its me". Trevor then said "I better not go there" in reference to mobiles and SMSs. Fev gave Trev a greasy look and both looked uncomfortable. It seems to me there is some sort of agreement to not talk about the whole Bingle episode

Deep down... 99% of Australian hotblooded males are jealous of the Fev/Bingle scenario.

what you have to remember is that:

Fev gets given shit and he also dishes it out.

Its called "football culture".

Fev is a great player and seems to be a top bloke...chill out

Straight after that, if you listened very carefully, Fev muttered something along the lines of 'I'm sick of this.... this could be my last time on'. I think one of the hosts was talking at the time so it could barely be heard but he definately wasn't happy. This was probably why he went hard with the water pistol - pretty frustrated and wanted to get payback somehow. Couldn't do it to a better bloke either - Sam Newman showing all his wit and intellect by calling Fev 'Big Chin'. Sounds like the prep playground!

Fev takes as good as he gives on the show. Everyone knows Fev aint no brain surgeon though.

I think they are trying to make Fev the new Dunstall when he was on it. Ive noticed Fev acts this big tough guy on the show now where he didnt care beforehand. He used to laugh off a lot of stuff and now he acts like he wants to bash newman like Dunstall used to act.

It's all a show. One week they have Fev having a go at Sam, the next its Crawford etc.
