Here's mine:

B: Carrazzo Norman Sporn
HB: Teague Whitnall McGrath
C: Lappin Houlihan Camporeale
HF: Chambers Waite Walker
F: Longmuir Fevola Betts
Foll: French Koutafides Stevens
I/C: Johnson Wiggins Deluca Davies

In: Camporeale
Out: Bowyer

I feel for Glen, but at Subi we need to place a bit more emphasis on pace. I wouldn't be surprised, however, if Davies misses out instead.

Your thoughts?

I agree with your team Elroy. However I get the feeling that Betts will be the one to miss out this week.

Richmond successfully tagged Hasleby and Josh Carr last week and we must do the same. For this reason I'd bring BANNISTER in and I'm afraid BETTS has to miss out.

Either CARAZZO or BOWYER for CAMPOREALE.

I don't know why everyone here (or a lot of you, at least) want to see Eddie dropped.

He is a livewire, he will only improve with each game, and no one else on the list can offer what he can.

I think his performances so far this season have been outstanding. He may have only played 1 quarter against Port, and had no touches, but still laid 2 tackles.

Eddie should play.

Who's with me?

God yeah Elroy - you can't just drop him after last weeks game, given performances in teh week before. With the Dockers chippy chip style, Eddie is going to create some turnovers this week. In the Goals / Accuracy article, the writer points out over 20 shots at goal between Eddie and Davies in the firs 4 rounds, mainly the first 3 rounds, surely a tasty coaching option. You can't dump your forward pockets to add a defender, your team will be out of balance. What you have to do is stick to your strengths, and I think our emerging forward line needs both Davies and Betts notwithstanding quieter games on the weekend.

Therefore the dumping needs to come from the midfield if we are to include Campo - Bowyer or Johnson have to go despite their games on the weekend.

I wouldnt drop Eddie...been good the first three weeks and gets to play in front of his mum and family this week and I reckon he will fire up for this game. Goalsneaks have their off days and Eddie is only a boy and learning the game..every game he plays improves him and its not good coaching to ditch a kid after one off game.
Subi will suit him and give him plenty of room to work in and I reckon you can mark him down for a couple of goals minimum.

I's like to include Bannister as insurance for Pavlich but its not easy dropping players like Bowyer who did the job asked of them last week and who has earned his spot...

Kade Simpson must be close to selection as well..good form with the Bullants and the conditions at Subi will suit him as well...

Bannister in.....Davies out

Elwood, I respect your knowledge and opinions greatly, but surely Campo must come in?

Sorry there Elroy...Campo will come in and probably for Bowyer even though I dont like dropping the ex Hawk after his good tagging efforts of last week.

Should read

Bannister in....Davies out
Campo in.....Bowyer out(even though I hate doing it)

Sounds like your calling for injuries!

Campo I can see back in the team, not suer about Scotland. I know people love him but Chambers can do the receiving job as good as anyone.

Ins Campo & Thornton/Simpson

Outs: Betts (he's only 18, and he needs a full game in the 2s) and maybe McGrath

Think Cory had a great Wiz Cup but might be his turn for a week or two with the Bullants.

Freo have a few mid size forwards so Bowyer will be needed down back. Eddie to get one more week up forward.

Not sure what the roles were last week to be honest. McGrtah and Betts didn't get much time ...may well be a true horses for courses and at Subi pace and long kicking will be a premium...
Having said that...despite a blinder ....Johnno may be an out

Mine - guessing on the fact that we wouldn't be dumb enough to choose Thornton!

B: Carrazzo Norman Sporn
HB: Teauge Houlihan Lappin
C: Chambers Compo Walker
HF: Waite Whitnall DeLuca
F: Longmuir Fevola Betts
Foll: French Kouta Stevens
I/C: Johnson Davies Bannister Wiggins

Just a thought..................but who else would like to see Eddie Betts tag Farmer.
Hear me out!
Last year, with the games that i watched eddie play in, he would piss of so many players because of his skills at goal, but also he's defensive work. And with Farmer easily being the most irritating player of all-time, put eddie on him and tell him to annoy the living shit out of him.
Personally (and i don't think it'll happen) i rekon it's a great idea!

Must admit that I am a bit of a believer in playing the players who are in a bit of form, so Johnston and Bowyer to remain in the team selected.

Also I am still really pissed off at Campo's lack of leadership and self-control in the Collingwood game, and the way he is constantly conned by opposition players to go the retaliation and then cop a suspension. Not much use to your team when your mind is on playing the man and not the ball, or you are watching from the sidelines because of suspension.. I know I am speaking from anger, but I would personally like to see Campo playing in the Bullants for a month, and give players like Johnston, Bowyer, Simmo, Bentick, Carrots, McGrath etc a chance and support to consistently have a crack at playing their hearts out for the jumper. Campo need a hand to take a bloody long hard look at himself IMHO.

Would you like Carlton to win a game in the next month?

Camporeale is a leader at Carlton, one of our best players and highly respected by his opposition.

He has sacrificed his previous role in the team as a receiving runner for the team's benefit.

Belting Brodie Holland is fine by me and I daresay 99% of people on TC.

Campo hates to lose and wears the Navy Blue with pride and defends it harder than most. Don't irrationally crack the shits about his suspension.
