Good to see some people getting in the spirit of supporting the club.

Just so people are aware up front, this will be a TBV initiative and to the best of my knowledge they will be listed as the recognised sponsor. But I ask that you look at this as supporting the club and not a website, we're all Carlton supporters, so lets do just that!

Note, Jack Daniels was asked to bring his pledge back to $51 so that as many people as possible could contribute.

london, payment will most likely be a deposit directly into Domenic's bank account, as we've done for the previous couple of years. There's some more detail on this on page 2 of the relevant thread on TBV if you're interested.

Once the pledges reach the required amount, I'll pass on the payment details when they're right to go.

Laser, I've just put you on for $51 at this stage, as that is how Dom wants to run it at this stage, and I can see his reasons for that. Cheers for your generous offer and if we need to chase up some extra money we'll let you know, but things are getting pretty close now, only about another 5 people to go.

Good going folks, must almost be there by now.

Insofar as the player selected, there's a good chance it may be Anthony Raso. If people are okay with that great, otherwise it may go to a vote. Either way I guess we should all remember that this is a great way for us to get involved with helping the club out and the driving factor is always to support the club.

As we're getting pretty close to filling the required pledges for this sponsorship drive it may be easier if you wish to pledge some money to this to do so directly into the thread on TBV, which can be found here:

I hope this doesn' come out the wrong way, and just thinking out aloud but;

1. If there are 5 players available and
2. If there is enough interest - or people who want to double up and
3. Since this is being branded a TBV sponsorship then

maybe we could nab one of the other players in a TC sponsorship drive?
