I'm taking the lady friend away for a week to Port Douglas as of this Saturday (i chose this weekend obviously as Carlton are playing interstate).

Can someone please advise where i will be able to watch the game in Port Douglas LIVE? I know where are live on Fox Sports in Victoria but will the same apply to Queensland?

What about free to air in Queensland?

There is no way i will miss out on watching this match.

There is a pub in Port Douglas which will show the game. I watched an early season clash between Carlton and Fremantle a couple of years ago. Hopefully you have a more enjoyable contest than I did.

I can't for the life of me remember the name of the pub though

You have the Courthouse on the corner, then more of a resturant next to that and the next pub along will be the one you're looking for.

Pretty sure you'll be right with Foxtel because it is the twilight game (is it not) which is always a Foxtel exclusive fixture.

Yeah, I watched the Blues and Kangas there a couple of years back when the umpire shafted us with Wells' kick :( .

Anyoop, the pup is on the same side as the corrugated joint that has the toad races, but a little further down, you can't miss it.

They have one screen showing the bum sniffers and one showing real footy. Great pub to watch a game in - have fun!

Watch out for any Mooney and Kingsley boys up there too. Ran into Kent's brother and watched a Geelong game with him.

The Courthouse Hotel (at the end of MaCrossan St) is the place to watch it on Sunday afternoon. I happened to be there in Rd 21, 2005 when we lost to the Bombers by 99 pts. Every beer made the loss a little less painful (as did the realisation that we would probably get first pick at Murph).

Enjoy!

The resort will have foxtel. So cuddle up on the bed raid the bar fridge, enjoy the room service and make the half time entertainment what you'll make of it.

Great place to watch a game... And if the room has a Spa.... well do i need to go on.

Anyway great place FNQ, lived up there for a few years in Kuranda and Cairns whilst working at the Cairns Reef Hotel Casino. The lifestyle....oh yeah !
