Here I am, sitting in an office in the north west of Sydney, with my Blues scarf parading proudly on my desk, resigned to the fact thatI won't get to gloat to any Essendon* supporters this week. Then all of a sudden our Melbourne warehouse manager wanders past my desk - yep, you guessed it, scum supporter. I laughed and said 48 points, then laughed again. He's a shattered man - I mentioned what a flower his Captain is. He said he was amazed at Setanta in the one on ones. So I gave it a bit of "well, next year there'll be two of 'em - and the second one's bigger!". You can't wipe the smile off my face today.

I love it that our most inexperienced player is quickly becoming the one that leads the way in never taking a backwards step. Has massive pride in the jumper does our Santy, and Tim Lane is right... he stood toe-to-toe with Lloyd even when we were getting flogged. Taking a backwards step was never an option. goosebumps

there is footage, if you can get it of the game, where santy goes to about 15cm away from llyods face, all the time, eye balling him, and llyods response? look away, like the wet rat that he is. a big man kiss for santy. he playes the game how it should be played. fair, hard and tough

It has been said that a picture can be worth a million dollars. And the one in yesterday's HS sports section is worth all of that and more!! Optus..the rest of Australia would have seen that photo 100 times each...it's sitting on couches, desks, bedrooms, offices, lunch rooms everywhere..you're baby blues have you on the front page exclusively!!
