Fev ensures Blues (and their flag) are flying Quote: Flanders, was at the MCG on Saturday and was of course delighted with the win, but when he got home he didn't get a chance to return the flag to its rightful spot and was planning to first thing yesterday morning. But before he could do so, at about nine o'clock, there was a knock on the door and when he answered it a bloke whom he didn't instantly recognise greeted him asking, "Hey, do you think we played well enough to warrant you putting the flag up again?" Agreed! I'll wear my carlton singlet one day a week regardless of win/lose/draw. It's about pride! (and then people think I'm on the bandwagon when we happen to win...) |
