To the Essendon* supporter in front of me dumb enough to turn around and argue with me in the second quarter when my team is down by 7 goals and we've just suffered a crap non-decision when an Essendon* player pushed a Carlton player out with his hands, in two very specific motions.....if it wasn't a push...what the f was it...and you're lucky that was my nephew sitting next to me and not a mate

And to Greg Flowering Denham from The Aussie who was on SEN yesterday talking about the rumour that Scott Lucas would not play.
His comment " even if that is true, it still wouldn't change the result of the game".
To all those medja cock-knobbers like him, Robinson, Smith et al - you can all go and get [REDACTED]!

And to the Essendon* supporting wank-off sitting in front of me who had the audacity to laugh whilst I was going absolutely spare about McVeigh's hands in the back, you can go and get a @#$%&! life too you stupid arrogant, ignorant turkey gobbler!

I don't normally get abusive but these pricks just really really really need to be told!

Robbo's an Essendon* supporter. Will be interesting to read his articles in the HUN about this game.

Gotta say, I was surrrounded by the biggest bunch of Essendon* dorks today. They were giving me a headache by half-time, and I was ready to turn around.. but things got very quiet after half-time.

I sat 2 rows in front of Tiff Cherry and a bunch of her friends - all Essendon*.

The guys in this group were constantly giving it to ONE blues guy in front of them - yes that's right talking down bullying this guy all day!!!!

Then come the final siren i turn around and sing the song right in their faces eye to eye - stone faced like rabbits in a spotlight!!! Absolutely nothing to say!!!!!

Essendon* seems to attract some pretty ordinary life forms.
We had 3 cretins behind us. At the end of the game they slunk away quickly and quietly, after having almost detroyed the seat neat to me having hit it so often during the game. Wouldn't know the rules if they were in front of them. Could they read? I would doubt it. Very opinionated. Very stupid. Got their just rewards.

It's a given that the Essendon* fans around you are a bunch of coc*heads. That's just the way the universe was built.

But the group around me were well aware of the clear umpire bias:

* Lloyds hand in the back in the last vs. Houlihans. Both were frees; 1 was paid. (ignore Lucas for a moment)
* Carrazzo's shove v Johnson's shove on Lappin in the first half. Both were frees; 1 was paid.
* In the backs - Hird will never be called for this.
* The new 'reachover rule' which is not an over the shoulder or a holding on, but is still a free kick. Pay it once, pay it all game surely?

By half time they were laughing about how much the Umps were on they're side. In the anger of the second quarter, one was even heard to say ' Can we just put their favouritism aside and talk about the game'?

I'm absolutely loving all of this

The only time I've experienced footy in Melbourne, as a Carlton fan, was

1) last game at Princes Park .. not many Ds supporters around me, though
2) R22 2005 @ the Dome .. the Kanga supporters weren't too bad

In Sydney, I am constantly surrounded by Ducks supporters, and almost always get a mouthful, which I can take. But try giving it to them (e.g R1 2004 [Product Name] Cup), and you'll almost get a mouthful of someone's fist!

I would dearly love to have been there yesterday!

Had myself and another Blue with 5 Don's fans. put up with a lot in the first half, but they all quitened down in the second. One mate kept asking if Lance could buy a kick? Put him back in his place when Lance started rucking in the 3rd ( Premiership) quarter.
just finished watching the replay.
To be 48 points behind and beat the Essendon* scum. Pure joy
