I must say I was very impressed with both Hoops and Norman.

Both players haven't done much this year including in the Wizzard Cup when we were playing good football.

This only confirms that Norman is suited to the back flank or back pocket he is not a key defender yet. Obviously with the injuries to Thornton and LIvo we have had to use Norman as a key defender. Norman will be a lot better when the Livo and Thornton return as he will pick up the 3rd best tall forward.

Houlihan showed his class as he set up many forward options with his precise kicking to Fev and Longmuir. Maybe we should play Houlihan on the wing or on ball. My only concern is that he doesn't seem to be very defensive however his kicking into the forward line was great Saturday night something that only Stevens has been able to do on a regular basis this year. I'd rather have Houlihan be unaccountable in the midfield than the backline so I would leave him mid centre and allow him to set up goals which he did very well on Sat night.

Very impressed with Longmuir he presented very well and gave us another option. I think he will be a handy player with Fev, Lance and now Longmuir we should have more options up forward .

Rapt with Longmuir's game and he should get another chance to cement a spot this week. Suprised he kicked two as I didn't rate him after being dumped by the Dockers for nothing really.

Houla in the centre square was a big plus from the weekends game for me. He will add to our midfield rotation in a big way thanks to his foot skills.

Houlihan - Pure class, not that quick, but rarely caught and always composed.

Norman - Shown potential, must work harder though.

Longmuir - More than handy option as a third or fourth marking forward.

I would say yes. The Fish could slot nicely into the CHF position and Trent could play as a forward pocket,(which he is currently I think)..

I am not sure about how tall Fish is, but I think he is tall enough for CHF. Certainly his strength lies in the fact he is probably our best contested mark in the team, and thats something we desperately need...

dont know about CHF, but its a handy bloody problem to have.

My ideal forward line is this

Fisher - Fevola - Longmuir
Betts - Whitnall - Waite

may seem a strange option for betts on the HFF but the reason for it is, his main avenue to goal will be to crumb our contested marks.

With Fisher - Fevola - Longmuir all on the lead it gives Betts the oppotunity to get "front and centre" reglardless of where the contest actually is.

We are really developing into a very very good team - 2 years and i reckon we are a serious show for a flag.

The best line we can imagine

Fisher - Whitnal - Longmuir
Betts - Whitnall - Waite
Camporeale - Scotland - Houlahan
Norman - Thorton - Lappin
Teague - Livingston - Carazzo

French - Stevens - Kouta

int - Deluca, Walker, Wiggo, McGrath

Whitnal's just too fat to play two positions

TROY LONGMUIR WILL BE THE NEW 1995 VERSION OF BRAD PEARCE.
WILL KICK BETWEEN 35-45 GOALS THIS YEAR.
