There's a Carlton Surfboard hanging up in a shop on the Sunshine Coast. The owner told me that after a premiership win, the players were presented with boards. Can anyone verify this story? The front shows the 33/97 CFC monogram, with some blue striping, and the rear features a WEG-esqe illustration with the signature - "Keith Halford '80". The MYSTERY is solved. I found THE Keith Halford.... Here is his explanation.... "Hi John, Yes, you have found him!!....that was a bit of a surprise to see that old board turn up again! That board was a "one off" for an avid Carlton fan, I can't remember his name after 27 years!? but the board probably looks in better nick than I do! I am no longer airbrushing Surf Boards, technology has taken over and we now digitally print some amazing designs on Boards.
