A family friend of ours died today. Beautiful girl, 20 years old, ravaged by cancer. She was a diehard Blues fan and has done it tough for 2 years haveing surgery, chemo and radiotherapy. The cancer came back aggressively and she died today. Taken too young. Showed more courage than any of us will be expected to produce.

RIP Alannah.

Hope the Blues can win one for her tonight.

Buzz, condolences to you and yours.

She'll be able to watch every Blues match from now on, and be with the boys all the way.

My condolonces to all concerned.

Great that the blues were able to win on the day she moved towards the heavens above.

Just as great that she got to see her beloved Blues remain undefeated in her final year with us all, not to mention the last game the Blues won why she was still with us was a Grand Final 8)

Don't want to rain on the parade buzz...

My mother passed away tomorrow 2 years ago - and in 2005 when we beat Essendon* back on April 1 - when I had to leave the ground and try to fly back to Sydney - this story reminds me of that situation.
