You would of thought after the Tarrant article he could at least wait untill after Carlton play to give the opposition team a spray!

Come on Wallsy pull your head in and stop giving the Blues opposition of the week more ammunition!

You got to love him! He's told to right an article and give his opinion on a club or player then so be it if that's what he comes out with. If a club needs a journo's article to motivate them for a game, then footballers are dumber than they appear. The brass tacks are that he Pavlich have beaten Hall who is a dud and I was shocked when I read he beaten. Walls was I believe proven right when he criticised several dockers for being overweight and not working hard enough in their second year of AFL.

I see it this way - rather than pumping up Freo to play well, it also puts more pressure on them & makes them more fragile if things go badly for them from the outset. So we need to play a really strong 1st half & demoralise them out of the game.

You've got to appreciate what Wallsy's doing. He's demanding we step-up to the plate.

Long-term,... better for it. Every match is a grandfinal for our defenders.

I already mentioned this in the "Why Why Why" thread but look deeper and this can only benefit (long term) our young, developing side. I think it's no coincidence that Wallsy has done this to us twice in three weeks now. He's actually helping us become a better side.

His article obviously worked for Collingwood when they were 24 points down and only one goal away from being finished. :garthP:
