CEO cum mediator? Doubtful - looks like Dick wants him to shake things up by talking contracts. |

What Carlton via Swann should say to Pagan and Mitchell, "We expect you to act like adults, to communicate and work together for the Carlton Football Club, If you can't do that, then both of you will get the axe". |

I won't be having Collingwood's Acting CEO telling us how to run our club, we'll leave that to there immediate past CEO. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I'm not too sure about that. |

Nope...............keep Mitchell. For the past decade (with both North & Carlton), anybody who has a problem with Denis is moved on...........seems like the growing trend & the thing to do and the way i see it, the reason why there is such a positive feel around the club at the moment is because we have just broken the trend. Something needs to be done yes..............but please don't move Mitchell on. |

..yeah i can understand why yer may feel sympathetic to mitch's plight, and i also understand that the old board let pags bend them over a barrel and now it's harder to shift the stubborn ol' bastiche'.. ..but the current situation is untenable, both have shown they're too immature to move on.. ..and quite frankly we're all about regaining our integrity..and while this continues we ain't gonna have any..i cant see pags getting the chop before season's end..so we either dump mitch, or this conts all season.. |

Does anyone else feel that Swann turning the heat down on Pagan and Mitchell's dealings suggests that Mitchell applied for the head coaching role, rather than being requested to as he's publicly suggested? |

Apparently in Caro's original article, this was written Quote: the Blues' new hierarchy has been buoyed by the club's encouraging start to the season which included a brilliant round 1 "come from behind" victory that the hapless Tigers could do nothing about, and influential sections of the Carlton board have made their thoughts on Mitchell clear to Swann BUT the editor had to cut it back just to this Quote: the Blues' new hierarchy has been buoyed by the club's encouraging start to the season, and influential sections of the Carlton board have made their thoughts on Mitchell clear to Swann
No really, she was really going to mention the Tigers.... Funny how it's soooo easy to mention Carlton when referring to some other club going to pot though ![]() |

No. The whole saga last September/October was an absolute farce with total responsibility being the CFC Boards at the time. |

No. The whole saga last September/October was an absolute farce with total responsibility being the CFC Boards at the time. Then why would he further separate them, rather than pull their heads in and get them talking? |
