Swann press conference

Carlton were supposed to call a press conference today to announce the appointment of Swann as CEO. Anyone know when this is supposed to happen, and if it'll be live on SEN?

Don't know if it was live, but I heard the replay of it on SEN at 2:30pm.

The best reply that I liked was when a reported asked him something like "Did you get a chance to say bye to everyone" and Swann replied "when you're going to the arch enemy, you want to get out of there as quick as possible" :-D

He did add that he spoke to people over the weekend and had a lot best wishes etc

Did they ask him if he removed all the "yellow sticky notes" off the Collingwood players salary & contract files???? :roll:

He did mention that he hadn't spoken with Pagan or Mitchell, and Channel 10 inferred that that would be one of his first tasks and that is to mend that relationship.

Whether or not that is on eof his tasks (I assume it may), I can't be sure.

Pratt commented that he had assured Swann that the club would look after him during his tenure and that he personally would as well if needed.

It's just great how the wheels have turned so fast and the whole "feel good" of it all again, especially going into Round 1.

Be great if we could top it off with a win or even better a big win.

Of course still much to be done.

the pagan/mitchell story has been blown up through the media big time... everyone thought Denis would be out of a job...well at least that's what many people hoped for and had planned...but i guess things didn't quite work out...some people left...others have stayed...

im pretty sure that our new ceo has better and more positive things to work on and look froward to...
