Hopefully huge crowd at the G and Lily of Laguna TUNE blaring at long and strong at the MCG - A HORRIBLE PRE-SEASON FOR THE FIRST HALF AND A MOMENTOUS CATHARTIC SECOND
Looking forward to Hollywood Fevola coming back to the G
Bryce playing his first game for the Blues -Clokey and Ackland playing as well their first one for the Blues.
The backline of Waite Setanta thorton -the three pillars
I hate the tigers its that 60-70s thing -when they were bloody good but the darth vaders of the VFL -THEY WERE DIRTY BUT GOOD -THEY WERE THE BLACK NIGHT WE WERE THE WHITE KNIGHT
They had Hart we had Doull -they had Balme we had Southby -we had Walls they had sheedy -they had Hungry we had Jezza
I was there when Percy tried to swat Jewell in 1980
I WAS THERE when Fowler dropped big Nick and the stadium shuddered in the 1973 GF
I WAS THERE WHEN BOTH SIDES KICKED 8 GOALS 13 to draw in a final at Artic Park
I WAS THERE IN 1972 when Carlton kicked the record score on October 7 the day before my birthday
I was there in 1982 when Johnno and Harmesy ran them off their legs
I WILL BE ON SUNDAY SUPPORTING MY BOYS LOOKING FORWARD TO OUR SIDE SPIFLICATING THOSE TIGERS
go BLUES

Bitchmond will be no match for the "baby blues" .... the resurgence will begin this weekend. :-D

I think it will be close, as we won't be allowed to have the free flowing game we enjoyed during the NAB series - thanks to Richmonds possession at all costs "tactic".

Hope I'm wrong though and the Blues cream 'em.

Ditto....I feel it too Deano.

I guess we're all from that era...I was there too...and I'll never ever ever forgive Balmy for his king hit on the game's first modern footballer Geoff Southby.

That didn't make him a good footballer, that confirmed that he was an old fashioned thug, and did it after Nichols was KO'd and off the field.

We are going to skin those tigers this weekend!!
