Well its certainly been a big off season and there's a much more positive vibe around the club, but going forward which addition has been more important? Is it on or off field?

Richard Pratt and the people/money that have come with him.

Greg Swann who'll be heading the day to day running of the club and brings a proven record in rebuilding a club with him.

Brett Ratten, Craig Bradley and Gavin Crossica, our new assistant coaches who have done a lot of work over the off season with our team.

Bryce Gibbs and the other recruits, including Cain Ackland and Cameron Cloke.

Paul Ford who has taken over responsibility for the players fitness and conditioning.

I couldn't go past Sir Richard either but really wanted to put a tick next to the new coaches

I went for Ford based simply on the fact that we can be as successful as we want off-field (Pratt, Swann) but it doesn't mean shit if we're still a basket case on field (Coaches, Players). Those who are directly responsible for on-field results rely on Ford for their appropriate recovery etc.

The fitter we are onfield the fitter we'll be off-field. Paul Ford leads the charge in that respect.

I voted for Swann based on the fact that he's the guy thats really going to co-ordinate the recovery.

Pratt and the rest of the board are bringing in the money, but unless its the correct procedures and plans are put in place to ensure we're profitable in 5 years time, all the money in the world won't solve our troubles.

I voted for Sir Richard also, but only because I could only post one vote. The players are more important because, without them, we wouldn't have the euphoric feelings of hope that we do now .. it's the combination of Sir Richard and the new players that has given us the edge we've been lacking since the routing of JE.
