Nice pick up. More positive steps forward for the club.

Raises a question though, IIRC Pratt has said he will stay as Prez for 2 years ... given he's employed a couple of helpers thru Visy, will their roles extend beyond that of Pratt himself? You'd have to think they would. I wonder who will be picking up their wages after Pratt leaves. I guess the theory is the club will be in a strong enough position to deal with that.

Oh, and no sneaky leakers pre-empting this news either.

Rod Ashman is a quality bloke, and was not too far off the Senior Coaching Job back in 1990 - if David Parkin did not accept the job - then Ashman was the next candidate on the list.

I think Visy is privately owned by the Pratt family, so if Dick wants to do something he can just do it. One of the benefits of not whoring your company out in the share market.
