He is well spoken and articulate.....much better than the present and former captain....

I have been regularly involved with a number of the Carlton players and I cannot understand what criteria was used for choosing the Carlton 'leadership' group.

Carrots is intelligent and articulate and totally dedicated ..... excellent qualities for a leader I would say.

His ability to win the contested ball and get it forward is a skill that will never go from the game. It appears that Carrots knows his skills are'nt the best in the AFL but he plays within his limitations and weights his disposals now instead of trying to drill teammates.
Something Jarrod Waite could learn from him.

Great value for the Blues.

DOA MkII ? :)

Carrots is getting better each year, the questions over his disposal diminish and the praise for his ball gathering increase.

Even in a leadership group of 11 its tough to fit everyone in. You'd probably find 7-16 were very close.

our leadership group numbers 2 less than the board ... so there's still hope for carrots (and one other) to be elevated
