I hope he keeps up the good work.

A Cloke playing 200 odd quality games for Carlton would be as funny as :-D

Well, Cloke (at the family day) did walk up...furrowed brow with trepidation,...when he got a HUGE cheer, you could see the relief and the big smile appaer

good luck to the kid and I hope he makes the absolute best of it....remembering it's a 'double luck ' chance ...picked up by the Blues after Smorgo quashed Zantuck

If he has got to 22 years of age and is a level headed and mature young man - despite the influence of his knob headed parents then there is hope for him yet.

I'm still looking at it like this, Collingwood are now crying out for mature body KP forwards without Tarrant and yet they let Cameron go, why?

Good luck to the kid but I'm sceptical, for now, still, maybe.

I was very sceptical about his signing. But right now I am a fan and I hope we give him at least 10 straight senior games with good game time to see where he is at. i think he will make the most of it and might be a damn good player for the blues for at least 5 years. You need all types in the team, not just 200+ giants. Footy is now about options and unpredictability and flexibility. He gives us that.

Well put nytdog. Looks as if most on here are waiting to judge him which is good. Would be great if he became a much-loved reject ala Clape (was going to say Hickmott or Rice but that would be a huge surprise if he could do that!)

Does anyone else find it bizarre that a senior coach wouldn't speak to a player about them being cut? Instead he let's the football manager call his agent/father and that's it?

If I was a player I'd want to know why the coach didn't think I was up to it and what he thought I needed to do to improve etc.

Pisspoor by Malthouse if it's true. At least give the kid a call to say thanks for everything over the last few years and sorry it didn't work out.

Apparently Cloke senior was not at all happy with the way Cameron was shown the door at Collingwood. Don't be surprised if we try to lure Travis here in the near future...

Why ?

I know we've won 2 games but all cameron has done has competed and kicked 2 behinds. He is not the messiah and we hope we stays longer but he is still up against it. Hampson will be in the seniors by Round 22.
