5. Personal Attacks and Defamation

Abuse against any person, group or company outside of Talking Carlton, which may land the Administrators or Moderators in legal trouble, is also out - this includes (but is not limited to) abuse directed at Coaches, Players, Administrators or Journalists.

5.b. Defamation and Libel

Please be aware that content posted on forum sites such as Talking Carlton can be considered libellous, if a reasonable person believes that the posted content could damage the reputation of an individual or company.

The moderators and Admin would like everyone to remember the above guideline. This hasn't been policed as strongly as we will in future.

Your assets or lack there of isnt the issue.
The site and admin are potentially liable for any content on these pages, particularly as the guidelines are clear.

There hasnt been a strong policing up till now, but this is the final warning so to speak. its our new 'hands in the back' rule and it'll be enforced.

Andrew Demetriou appears to be one of the least popular CEOs of the AFL in the eyes of Carlton supporters due to some decisions perceived as poor whilst in office.
