Exactly 1 month on from the day when blue skies appeared once again replacing the dark clouds of doom over Princes Park.

Doesn’t it feel great to be a true blue supporter these days …so much to look forward to …we’re walking tall once more!

…and to think some people supported the other bloke as the President of the future! ..LOL!!! :P

LIFE. IS. GRAND. 8)

:-D Very happy - I somehow think that this time it is not a fasle sense of hope rather a good young developing team.

2007 - 6-7 wins

2008 - The 8

2009 onwards - A real crack at premiers

Life IS grand. I love Dick! I love his crazy fashion sense! I love the way the boys have been playing! I love the fact that the media has had to find other fodder to fill their pages (aside from the Whitnalls, of course )

But...

Can we please cut down a little on the 20/20 retrospecto-vision. King Dick's name wasn't on any ballot I voted on. I ended up choosing Unity, despite my trepidation with the current Committee, because Stephen and Mark had impressed me over the course of the campaign and I believed that option to be the best at the time.

Give me the choice between Pratt and Smorgon and there IS no choice. But that's not what I was asked to vote upon.

Let's just delight in the fact that the QE2 has at last been turned around after a long, dark night and our club is finally and - I might add - rightfully heading in the direction we ALL want it to go!

All the other clubs, journalists and AFL Presidents can now officially go take a flying flower! :P :P :P

There are more changes still to come for us and the road ahead is still long - but a glorious future awaits those who work hard and long and most of all - believe.

a 17th flag might seem a distant dream - but if we all intensely focus our minds on our great club, encourage our young players, leaders and administrators - then such a glorious thing will indeed come...

patience is a must with the club...our turn in winning premierships again will come...we as supporters have seen our fair share...hard work and thorough planning will help to ensure that we are back on the winning path again...

Yep, life is grand budzy.
I sit back and smile when I think of all the times that people have pleaded with me to ditch Carlton in favour of their team to no avail. 8)
