Um, just wondering..

In what years if any would John Nicholls have been at Carlton whilst Bob Menzies was PM??

And during what years of those, if any would he have been captain?

The other more interesting question is, while I be cautioned by the mods for asking this question??

from 1957 to 1966 john nicholls played while menzies was PM and during the 1963 season john was captain.

63' for the Captain Menzies was PM from 39-41 and 49 to 66.

Nicholls career was 57' to 74'

Further to my previous question, and this is a very big ask - does anyone have any newspaper clippings or even just know of any specific meetings they might have had, particularly while Nicholls was Captain and Menzies was PM?? Would Menzies have ever dined with Nicholls at any stage?

And when did Big Nic do his little stint at his majesties pleasure?
