Critical move at 1/4 time. Whitnall to CHB and Kouta to the stoppages. Whits stiffened the HB line and was able to provide a contest in the packs and forced Port to go either over or around him. This allowed us to get numbers to the fall of the ball. Kouta of course added presence to the stoppages again allowing numbers to the fall of the ball. |

Whitnall probably won't get a lot of recognition because he had few touches himself, but he really did make Tredrea have to work a lot harder for his possessions. |

Would have been a different result if Kouta had been around the ball all night. That said, it wasn't a moronic idea to start him on Tredrea. |

Good call BM. Kouta was getting humiliated by Tredrea, sadly enough, and we were missing his poise in the middle. I thought Karl did a much better job this week and largely kept that bitch Thurstans out of the way. |

I disagree, Kouta was never going to be able to curb Tredrea. Having said that I don't think Lance was the right man either. Karl should have been given the chance. Give so that Karl may grow |

There were some game losing moves: Kouta at CHB Kouta doing ruck work in the backline costs us 2 goals Not bagging Kouta but I thought the coaches might have a little idea that he is quite good at clearances. |

Where the F@#$ was French late in the second qrt when Kouta was doing the ruck work againist primus in Ports F50 ??? It cost us our best clearance player who had no chance of putting the ball to our advantage... |

I am. I'm very happy; as I've said elsewhere if someone had offered us a draw against Port I would've taken it ![]() |

agree jarusa..the kickin was a lil disappointin but there must have been some kind of wind on the ground or the goals posts are thicker than they should be |

French was where he was supposed to be, Kouta was where he was supposed to be...this one lies with Pagan |

Brett Johnson was very good after coming on in the 2nd Quarter and was very good over the ball and around the packs it was a good gutsy effort well done blueboys |
