Be nice to people you meet at the Family day at OO on Sunday because you just might be talking to a family member from one of the new lads.

CFC have flown in all the parents plus a few of the brothers and sisters of the new kids who were added to the list/rookies for 2007. The invitees have a full day on Saturday including coming to TD for the game. On Sunday the gang will be at OO for the family day.

Regards Cazzesman

Great initiative.

Gee it's nice that we can do this sort of stuff now.

We've always been able to do it, Deano.

We just haven't had the brain power to do it.

Or the creative thinking.

Nice interview by Christy Malhouse last night at half-time with Bryce Gibb's family. Great to see his sisters decked out in Carlton gear.

Great family day today - big turn out... have not seen this since 2002.

Only problem were the queues for both autographs and kids activities were enormous....

Oh, yes it took the staff a couple of hours to figure out that the audio was not working and people further then 20 metres away from the stage could not hear much....it was fixed when it was almost over....

Oh, yes and King Richard has an "interesting" taste in shirts....

Was a good day and I would guess we are probably now at 22 K members..

Very positive... the faithfull were pumped and people were signing up in droves..... Hundreds of people wanted King Richards autograph..... all smiles and happy faces. Weather was perfect.

Only player missing was Nick Stevens, they said he was sick...... sounded weird...

went to princes park today all excited, bought the parking ticket, parked the car and then my dad saw the massive line there was at the gate and took us to the beach instead. :(

Did anyone ask Dick where you can buy a shirt identical to the one he wore on Saturday night?

Carlton faithful hails Pratt and soaks up the experience of winning.
Quote:
"Last night's sterling victory provided a mouth-watering glimpse of what's to come," he said. "To say I'm proud to serve Carlton as president is something of an understatement. I played for Carlton, I served on the board and I'm deeply honoured to accept the presidency."

Pratt said he had begun putting in place "the building blocks for Carlton's resurgence". "Together, we'll return the Carlton Football Club to where it rightfully belongs, at the top of the ladder."

Quote:
No. 1 draft pick Bryce Gibbs signed almost as many autographs as Pratt. "There'll be exciting times over the next couple of years," Gibbs said. "We're really going to turn some heads."

I got several autographs but I think the most kindest players were Fevola, Carlos and Dylan Mclearen. Off field, Fevola does a great job in promoting the Club. It's too bad he is not captain.
