My son found an old autograph book of mine, and we were going through it and I found one of Val Perovic. I explained to Ben that Val was the original WOOF!!!, and described what happened every time he kicked the ball. Ben thought this was pretty cool. I then found an autograph of Ang Christou, who was the second WOOF!!! and if my memory serves me correctly (to borrow a line from Iron Chef), Chris Bryan had it for a short time also.
So my question is this: do we have a WOOF!!! at the moment, if not, is there one being groomed?

Hartlett would lay claim to this but by season's end 2006 he was reporting that his ongoing knee injuries were imapcting on his long kicking. Lets hope he regathers the woof ability.

Grigg can also plant them post 50 with regularity and given his left boot may excite us with memories of Vanger!

I think we need to come up witha catchcry for Bryan's 3 kicks against us during the year. What's the opposite of a Woof?

probably should be given to someone who is likely to get a game, I'd give it to Bower or Setanta as both have shown a desre to carry the ball off halfback and kick long. Walker does this as well but I think most supporters are too busy holding their breath to give out a 'woof'

Our next woof can't be forced. It has to be a natural evolution.

When the time is right the woof will reappear.

Yeah that's a fair call. When the moment comes we will know...

the way the game is played these days it should be a "woof" to anyone that kicks it over 40 metre's !!

:-D

otherwise give it to fev when outside 50 having a ping
(tho that might put him off)

.. go blues ..

I would love to see Hartlett get the tag, but I agree that it needs to happen narurally.

We should have started it with FEV!
I can see the CFC faithfull as one when he lines up outside 50 and it sails through post high with a HUGE WOOF and then the mighty ROAR!
Oh well will just have to wait for now.
