What a difference a day makes - suddenly, the bloke i get my coffee from, he's talking about the rebirth of the blues, Pratt's name gets mentioned throughout the day, and there is no comeback offered, just agreement, a great day for the blues.

It would seem that's one problem fixed or well on the way to being fixed.

And so to the swagger.

I think the swagger is about on-field results, and as good as our off field possibilities now are, our on field outcomes need to speak for themselves.

Let's keep the swagger in the backroom for a little while yet......

The amount of times in the past day that my mates have come up to me and said what are you so happy about....to which i reply "WE'RE BACK" just tells me one thing....

Keeping my swagger hanging in the closet a little longer. I may give it an outing pre-season just to see if it has faded at all or needs a bit of a press.

I was at training this morning, and believe it or not, there was not a hint of swagger.Just people with a quiet confidence.I would call it purpose in your walk rather than swagger.

We are still quite a way from being 'back'.

All we have done is put the necessary things in place so that we will be able to turn things around much quicker than might have occurred if people had chosen diffently.

Also remember that we are starting a long way behind many of the other clubs both on the field and off the field.

For me, the main thing is that we have made choices that will stop us from becoming a basket case.

Hoever, we do now have in place sufficient young talent to develop a team capable of playing finals football.

But this will take a while to come to friution.

What will happen though is :

In a year when we are clearly progressing, but not yet sufficiently developed to play finals football - something special happens...

During that season, everyone recognises that we are in a team building year and we ought to follow the normal timelines for such a developmental stage - but instead, Carlton gets lucky.

If and when this happens - and I indeed have faith that it will come to pass - then the Carlton swagger will be back and in full view for all to see...

The swagger never left. Being a Carlton supporter always makes me feel above the rest. 8)

Ditto. Well done Jack.

Amen.

We need a swagger emoticon.

I prefer an aura of steely determination, rather than a swagger.
