Just having a bit of a read over at TBV and it was brought to my attention that Callum and Troy played with each other for West Perth in the WAFL when they weren't playing for the Eagles and Fremantle.

And apparently both of them used to destroy teams.

Bodes well for us tomorrow night as they know doubt would know each others game quite well.

EDIT - Just for Verbs and Deano.

i have heard this before, and that Pagan has been chasing Callum for 2 years. I think Troy Longmuir has some potenial we have been lacking a mid sized foward know woth Fev, Lance, Dukes, T-Lo and Betts its starting to look good. Unfortunate though that Lance will have to play down back this week.
If we are getting flogged and Fev is having dirty game it would not surprise me if Dennis moves him down back.

Dont expect too much folks as both will be underdone, especially TLo.But it is an injection of talent into the team nevertheless.I rate TLo bigtime.Predicting if he stays injury free will be the pickup of the year.

This was posted on TBV on draft day by a WA supporter who said she watched them regularly play together in the WAFL.

It is interesting to note actually that many of our draftees over the past few years have come from the same club at the same time, eg Harford & Johnson, Diggers and Teaguey, Banno & McGrath, Russell and Batson (?), Chambers & Longmuir. I thought about Scotland and Stevens but not quite....I'll give Stevens and French though....

I wonder if its something that is conscious on Pagan's part, whereby the transition to a new club, and the playing relationships between players are kept going.

Maybe its just coincidence, though....
