If my contact at Austar is to be believed (he is usually pretty reliable), then this will be the carve-up of FTA and Cable this season: ![]() Friday Nights Channel 7: Vic & Tas (Live), Sth Aust & Nth Terr (30 Minute Delay), West Aust (2 Hour Delay), Qld, NSW & ACT (Live - 1 Hour Delay) [Channel 7 Coverage broadcast by Fox 3] Saturday Afternoon: Channel 10: Australia Wide (Live - 1 Hour Delay). Saturday Afternoon: Fox 3 & Austar: Australia Wide (Live - 1 Hour Delay). Saturday Evening: Channel 10: Australia Wide (Live - 1 Hour Delay). Saturday Evening: Fox 3 & Austar: Australia Wide (Live - 1 Hour Delay). Sunday Lunch: Fox 3 & Austar: Australia Wide (Live - 1 Hour Delay). Sunday Afternoon: Channel 7: Australia Wide (Live - 1 Hour Delay). Sunday Twilight: Fox 3 & Austar:Australia Wide (Live - 1 Hour Delay). NB: Channel 7 will broadcast Friday Night fixtures on a 4 hour Delay into Qld, NSW & ACT. Fox 3 & Austar will also cover the 4 games which it doesn’t broadcast exclusively at non–competing timeslots. More importantly, for us Blue Baggers; this is how our games pan out: 2007 AFL Premiership Season Rd 1: Sunday, Apr 01 (Sun Twilight) Richmond MCG Home 5:10 pm: Fox 3 Rd 2: Saturday, Apr 07 (Night) Geelong Telstra Dome Away 7:10 pm: Channel 10 or Fox 3 Rd 3: Saturday, Apr 14 (Day) Essendon* MCG Home 2:10 pm: Channel 10 or Fox 3 Rd 4: Sunday, Apr 22 (Day) West Coast Subiaco Away 2:40 pm: Channel 7 Rd 5: Saturday, Apr 28 (Night) Brisbane Lions Telstra Dome Home 7:10 pm: Channel 10 or Fox 3 Rd 6: Friday, May 04 (Night) St. Kilda Telstra Dome Away 7:40 pm: Channel 7/Fox 3 Rd 7: Saturday, May 12 (Day) Collingwood MCG Away 2:10 pm: Channel 10 or Fox 3 Rd 8: Saturday, May 19 (Night) Kangaroos Gold Coast Stadium, Carrara Away 7:10 pm: Channel 10 or Fox 3 Rd 9: Saturday, May 26 (Day) Adelaide Telstra Dome Home 2:10 pm: Channel 10 or Fox 3 Rd 10: Sunday, Jun 03 (Day) Western Bulldogs MCG Home 2:10 pm: Channel 7 Rd 11: Saturday, Jun 09 (Night) Port Adelaide Telstra Dome Home 7:10 pm: Channel 10 or Fox 3 Rd 12: Friday, Jun 15 (Night) Hawthorn Telstra Dome Home 7:40 pm: Channel 7/Fox 3 Rd 13: Saturday, Jun 30 (Day) Fremantle Subiaco Away 2:10 pm: Channel 10 or Fox 3 Rd 14: Sunday, Jul 08 (Day) Melbourne MCG Home 2:10 pm: Channel 7 Rd 15: Sunday, Jul 15 (Sun Early) Sydney SCG Away 1:10 pm: Fox 3 Rd 16: Sunday, Jul 22 (Sun Early) Brisbane Lions Gabba Away 1:10 pm: Fox 3 Rd 17: Saturday, Jul 28 (Day) St. Kilda Telstra Dome Home 2:10 pm: Channel 10 or Fox 3 Rd 18: Saturday, Aug 04 (Day) Collingwood MCG Home 2:10 pm: Channel 10 or Fox 3 Rd 19: Saturday, Aug 11 (Day) Port Adelaide AAMI Stadium Away 2:40 pm: Channel 10 or Fox 3 Rd 20: Saturday, Aug 18 (Day) Essendon* MCG Away 2:10 pm: Channel 10 or Fox 3 Rd 21: Saturday, Aug 25 (Day) Kangaroos Telstra Dome Home 2:10 pm: Channel 10 or Fox 3 Rd 22: Sunday, Sep 02 (Sun Twilight) Melbourne MCG Away 5:10 pm: Fox 3 The situation is simple: If you have cable or access to cable, you will see every Carlton game LIVE or at worst on an hour delay. That's gotta be good for sponsors, the club and particularly us fans. Go the Mighty Blue Boys!! ![]() |

No Jars, 4 FTA games are a certainty for you Victorians at least: Channel 7: Friday Night and Sunday Arvo. Channel 10: Saturday Arvo and Saturday Night. Depending on our ladder position as to which games 7 & 10 choose to broadcast, Carlton could on the FTA channels a fair bit this year. ![]() |

Does Live - 1 hour delay mean live in all of the ountry except the city the game is in? |

Apparently, a major factor in getting the deal over the line was that FOX3 and Channel 10 will choose their preferred game on alternate weeks. |

Guys, my understanding is that Perth as an example may show East Coast 2.30 games rather than live (12.30 WA time), on an hour delay at 1.30 WA time. I just got told that there will be a shitload of games live against the gate this year. Hmmm...Good for interstaters, but not so good for clubs struggling to get crowds. This could mean less $$$$ for us... What am i thinking, we will be on cable more than FTA I reckon anyway! |

Just been talking about that too. It seems that Caro misreported that aspect. FTA will actually get about 2/3 of the first picks. Still the same, Fox would be happy to get a third of the first choice as they haven't had that luxury in the past. |

Floering spewing! I got rid of foxtel during September last year ![]() Surely there's got to be a way to get just Fox 3, through some sort of satelite dish system??? Like the pubs.. |

Expect plenty of our games on Foxtel.....a real imposition on some members and I hope it doesnt cost memberships choosing between a foxtel subscription or a membership package.. |

If you're the 7/10 consortium, about 50 million reasons why. |

On the cards EB, especially with some of our supporters. We get a lot of Pay TV coverage (last couple of years) and supporters have woken up to this. Unfortunately CFC will lose again. ![]() |

This all sounds quite awesome to me. No more staying up to all hours of the night trying to avoid any news of the result to watch a replay as if it's live. Bring on the footy! |

Live - 1 hour or 4 hours. also what excatly does live - 1 hour delay mean ? either live or 1 hour delay? |

I think it will be similar to this year where Fox showed Friday Night games at 9.30pm and Nine showed it at 11.30pm, except this year it will either be shown live at 7.30pm or on a one hour delay at 8.30pm on Fox. |
