![]() ![]() ![]() Just heard that a kid with curly hair and a huge grin has just been asked to join the All Star Squad by Magic McLean. MM obviously knows class at the Blues. That will increase the crowd total by about 50 relatives ![]() ![]() ![]() Both he and Eddie expected to play half a game. Regards Cazzesman |

Post subject: | Joey Anderson added to Indigenous All Stars side |
NT News today (7 Feb) announced that Carlton recruit Joey Anderson has been added to the Indigenous All Stars side to play Essendon* in Darwin on Friday night. Good luck Joey, a good chance to impress. Also added to the squad was Cyril (junior) Rioli, nephew of both Maurice Rioli and Michael Long. Junior is expected to be a high draft pick next year. He joins a list of young Indigenous players without senior experience who have had an opportunity to show recruitment staff that they can play at the higher level. In previous years Richard Tambling and Raphael Clark have played very impressive games against league sides before they were drafted. |

That's great news NTBlue. Thanks for that. I really like the look of Joey, this should be a great experience for him. |

Am looking forward to watching this game. Will be great to see a game of footy again, and to keep an eye out for Anderson makes it even better. |

What makes it better is that Eddie and Joey will be in a team that gets to smash Essendon* completely ![]() |

Regards Cazzesman Sorry Cazzesman, I didn't realise that you already had the scoop on this when I posted the bit about the NT News article. And I know that you just may have some inside info, but I think you may be underestimating the size of extended families in Darwin. When all my inlaws get together for a family BBQ the invite list is around 96 people. Thats just my wife's brothers and sisters, their kids and grandkids. When I recently purchased a new house I had to have the house warming party over two weekends just to squeeze everyone in. Unfortunately the footballers in my extended family have been Essendon* and Geelong players. The draft has got a lot to answer for. |

I'll be there and it will be great to see Eddie & Joe in action. I last saw Joe play last March in the NT Grand Final so it will be interesting too see how he has developed since then. I am also looking forward to booing the bombers and Sookie Lloyd if he is playing. Go the All-Stars. ![]() |

Good match, although Eddie and Anderson did absolutely nothing all game that I could see. Essendon* won. I don't think the All Stars will be squaring off against the All Australian team or the Big V any time soon. |
