How would our draftees feel pulling on their Carlton shirts to go out in public today? Proud, confident or just plain embarrassed? Any remaining skerrick of pride we have left is being sold off in the Hun for a few votes. Its not about the footy club any more, its a political game for selfish individuals.

What a disgraceful press interview and article to be offered by a current Director. Right when the stench had passed, if only for a few weeks, does this idiot come out and pull our name back in the mud yet again. The Smorgon / Rose line of panicking the members to get more members has been shown to be flawed. People don't like signing up to a dying animal - they want an image of the future. The young players, redemption for the past few years - this should be the image portrayed by Carlton. For him to advance his own political purposes by offering such headlines is a disgrace. |
