I'll be there! Just wanting to know if anyone else is. Can be a lonely place at Moron Park cheering on the boys. Anyone interested in meeting up at the ground? |

I went to Adelaide for Game 1 of the NBL Grand Final back in 94 (Giants v Sixers). I'm not going back to Adelaide again. South Australians are proof that Tasmanians could swim. |

Ahh I see now. I didn't know there were levels of support for the mighty blues re the state you lived in. I know my place know. On behalf of all the SA Carlton supporters our sincerest apologies for existing. Wake up and bag the club supporters not the state.

I love Adelaide.......... there i said it........true it's a lovely place.... i have some very good friends there............! your right Mots2.....for me...it's not a state thing..... but a Port Adelaide thing.......! my mother had a restaraunt in Semaphore.......and as you know.......the Port people are rather prevalent in said area......they freaked me out........! i don't care what people say......comparing Adelaide supporters to Port supporters is not fair........! Adelaide are like a Melb X Hawks X Sydney supporter....and Port a like a Doomed X Colon supporter.......just out of jail.......! that's my issue......i was nearly eatin alive at AAMI...... and i wasn't even wearing colours......(not a colours man).............and the language was horrific........women ...men....kids......the lot.......! aaaaand......i've never in my life.....seen so many knitted scarfes..........wow.......they have a lot of time on there hands over there........! that's my issue........as for other stuff....great golf courses......great wine.......very good restaraunts..... friendly cab drivers......! even Bruce Abernathy's not a bad bloke.....and his beautiful wife Annette...."netty".......great couple......! i was very close to moving there.......circa 99-01......! kindest regards tommi |

I went to a wedding in Adelaide a few weeks ago and drank 40 stubbies of Coopers Pale Ale and woke up without a hangover and not in a shallow grave or a barrel. So the beers ok. |
