All True Blue Carlton Supporters who can't stop talking about the club and how we performed on the weekend, why not talk about it with other true blue fans. The Official Carlton Chatroom is a great place to come and talk about the Carlton Football Club. We need to get this chatroom up and running again, at the moment numbers are non-existent. If we can get numbers up to around 10-15 on a consistent basis, there is a possability that the AFL will organise for a different Carlton player to come to the room each week and answer any questions you might have. The Carlton Chatroom can b found at http://carltonfc.com.au/default.asp?pg=funngames and then click on the Chat Now link. So c'mon blues fans and lets get this room up and running and who knows....you could find yourself talking to carlton gun forward Brendan Fevola or Carlton Captain Anthony Koutoufides. BlueMark, The Official Carlton Chatroom is rated PG, there will be an Op in the room who will decide whether people have gone too far with their comments, and the consequences may result in being kicked or banned. |

The thing is guys, we can't get players in there until we can prove that we get chatters in there. we have to get numbers in there on a consistent basis before the AFL (not me, the AFL) will organise players to come in and chat. and why do u guys prefer these forums to instant messages????? |

Censsorship is probably the biggest thing, although I understand why it must exist on the official site. Also, the ability to slowly compose messages without falling drastically behind in conversation is a big plus too. |

Considering this is a forum rather than a chatroom the whole player coming in here to chat with fans thing just won't work. Sorry tommi. Due to their constraints on time it just wouldn't work in an environment like this as opposed to the immediacy of a chatroom where exchanges take place in realtime. Just means you need to get in practice deano.
