Bryan was a hack who refused to do what's required. Cloke is a hack who refuses to do what is required. Fair trade. |

The Age said that the Bryan Cloke trade looks likely. But it is hard to see Carlton benetting out of this. |

Surely with McLaren's concerns now, we will go after a "genuine" ruckman with our second PSD pick and not a wanna be ruckman like Cloke, surely! We can't be that stupid, surely. ![]() |

We can't be that stupid, surely. Surrey, who are all these genuine ruckmen we are going to miss out on in the second round of the PSD? We can't take players who aren't there. Any second round PSD pick is going to be a questionable talent. Having said that, I would be in favour of giving Karl Norman a second chance instead of flirting with Zantuck. And I'd redraft Prenda ahead of Cloke. As good as a pretend ruckman and a much smarter more dedicated bloke. Still the second pick in the PSD wouldn't even be here if Bryan hadn't jumped ship or if ADL hadn't retired. ADL was an average player but the fact that he was 200cm in a side with no ruckmen meant he was guaranteed a fair few games this season. Interesting to retire under those circumstances. If we take Cloke it may be okay. He is young, big, has some talent and knows he needs to really put in or he will be playing with Ringwood. I'm willing to give him a chance when he pulls on the navy blue although i suspect the bryan/cloke 'swap' will be a nil-all draw |
