It should say how many players do you think will be cut/traded or retire.

I say at least 6 maybe 8 if with trade.

Do you think Pagan will cut lose if we came like 14 or 15 and struggle, i think it would be the end of Camporeale,Whitnall if we do.

Who are the players you think need a big year to avoid it

David Clarke (he is gone already you would Think)
Brett Johnson
Digby Morell (would he be on shaky ground?)
Simon Wiggins ( get the feeling we will trade him)
Glenn Bowyer (I think Pagan thinks his time up)
Troy Longmuir (would he be if he doesn't do much)
Chris Bryan ( I think we picked him just as a late pick just as a backup, i hope he does well althou, we need his height)

While Luke Livingston,Karl Norman,Jordan Bannister should be safe because of lack of talls or would they? They have all struggled of late,Luke Livingston still needs to prove himself, he did well in the wizard cup but it's a big year for him as he was almost cut last year and hasn't proven himself yet in the real game.

You're kidding right?
Bryan is on a two year contract and is a tall.
By all reports, T-Lo is doing very well in the 2s and should be a few weeks away from debuting in the seniors.

The rest of your list, bar Digby and Wiggo, is about right.

David Clarke-gone, crap disposal, yet quick and maybe soft.
Brett Johnson-gone, crap disposal, yet slow and soft.
Digby Morell- Does well as the third tall defender/forward and will stay.
Simon Wiggins- Gone, despite being a try hard.
Glenn Bowyer- No place in a side that wants to play quick attacking footy.
Troy Longmuir- If he plays well he'll stay and will get another year if Clarke can.
Chris Bryan- Surprised he's got a two year contract, but unless he shows he can step up a grade should go.
Davies- trade him.
Sporn- Trade him with Davies to get picks. An AFL player shouldn't take until the 3rd quarter to get a kick!

Gees I love the positivity that flows through some people's veins after a loss.

How about we get rid of everyone and start afresh huh?

Is Bryan on a two year contract or is it one year because of his age, wasn't Ricky Mott delisted after a year can't remember if we got Mott as a late pick or trade. I dont want to lose him just when you look at our list a few wouldn't go before him at this stage. I'm hoping he plays this week but i doubt it along with SenantaO'hailapin (I which they would promote him and get him up forward.)

Trent Sporn and Justin Davies could get trade but they signed new contracts last year i think.

I like to see Senanta O'Hailapan,Chris Bryan,Jordan Russell,Andrew Walker,Adam Bentick and Callan Chambers all in this week

Out Camporeale,Wiggins,Scotland, Johnson,Prendergast and Sporn

While Davies and Morrell have another chance. I still give Davies a go he still kicks a couple of goals even thou he is sloppy with his game.

While Simpson,Longmuir or Bannister could take their place if not.

I put Prendergast out only because if he only plays a small part of the game he might as well get a full game in the VFL.

Hmmm, good point.
The fact that he kept the oppositions most dangerous and inform player to 2 kicks and no goals in the first half shouldnt come into it.
What a disgrace, sacrificing his game for the good of the team.

Perhaps we could try and get Chris Tarrant!
No, he didnt get a kick till the third quarter.
He's no good.

And that David Clarke and Brett Johnson......soft you say? hmmmm.

Things are grim.
How many games in a row have we lost? ........10?.....20?

This thread sounds so bloody Richmond. Ooohhww
If Davies had kicked straight he'd be a hero.
Sporn does a lot that goes unnoticed.
Bryant I haven't seen, but I'm sure we didn't draft him to make up the numbers.
Have a little faith, it's only round three.
Regards Pedro.

This site has a real Richmond feel about it since Saturday, been very disappointed and refuse to start speculating on this type of crap this early in the season.

BlueMark, "Kade Simpson - Awesome Bullants player but can't find the pill in the big time"... It's a bit hard for Simmo to get the pill in the Seniors when he spends all his time warming the bench. He's gotta get some real game time before we judge him.

what a crap post. Round 3 and you are tearing us to shreads. lets wait a while. Whilst we might have got a bit excited after the Wizard Cup lets not bag the crap out players and cut them after round 3. Especially guys that havent played seniors yet Bryan and Longmuir.....

yep halford, you can't imagine the disappointment brewing. i can't believe carlton fans are that down on being 1-2 that the only way we can feel better about our team is to start planning retrenchments. perhaps its my area of work, but there nothing worse than sacking people.

perhaps spending a few years at the bottom hasn't provided balance to some blues fans, perhaps the wizzer win just fed the arrogance we had and will have again. but we've come from nowhere to win some silverware, without our draft picks, on the back of a great coach and some selfless performances - plus some absolutely brilliant luck in the shape of B.Thornton, C.McGrath, D.Teague and D.Morrell... plus N.Stevens! Luck!!!

we should be happy to be competitive again, yes, be very disappointed about the loss to the pies, but focus on where the youngsters could come in, how french has lifted, how good stevens is... not start sacking players who are still in development phase, let alone key players. some calling for morrell to be dropped without replacement really aren't thinking, are they? or am i just full of myself? (i need DB for some balance!)

OR.... which is my petty hate (thus the other post, halford, you're right and i shouldn't have posted it), bag houlihan, want to sack him, after 21 possies and winning his position! I mean, Pagan mentioned him as among our best, each paper listed him in the besy, and people want him cut because he started out a relatively soft, outside goalkicker? FREAKIN' HELL!!!
