Good to see the Blues put up the Member Monitor without being asked!:

http://carltonfc.com.au/default.asp?pg=home

Look's like 4237 as at November 6, 2006, which according to Membership is not bad for this time of year and ahead of the same time last year. I'll be signing up Mrs.Molsey for the first time ever this year as punishment for making me follow the Dockers in the 2006 finals campaign.

I'm actually quite concerned with that number.

In previous years, season seat holders have had much longer time to renew.

This year, the cutoff date is today!! Do the figures then indicate the very few people have renewd their seats?

Just renewed my membership and upgraded - threw in the cap for an extra $5 just for good measure (even though I probably won't wear it!!!)

Spoke to Jeremy in the membership department and he said we're at around just over 4,500 with a massive backlog of memberships to process - thinks we'll be around 5,500 by weeks' end :-D

I'm an AFL member with Club support (as is my whole family). I have renewed my reserved seats through the Club, but have not yet renewed my AFL membership, out of which comes my Carlton membership. So not sure if mine is counted in that figure or not.

2 More members signed up as of today. Well, me and a Baby Blue, which, unfortunately, I don't think counts.

I upgraded my membership to a long-distance SC, up from the Interstate.

And then went and spent a fair bit of coin at the Shop.

Ahead of schedule or lowering the expectation to make the figures looks better? What was our count this time last year?

Last year at December 9th the membership numbers were at around 5000.

http://talkingcarlton.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=7159

So with three weeks to go already over 2000 ahead.

So looking good so far this year.

I reckon we will break 30,000 easy, especially after the draft.

Thanks Jarusa. Good news then. I get the feeling the when this board stoush is over and the draft is complete 35,000 is realistic.
