A big thankyou to the Blues players and staff for taking the time to sign autographs and having pictures taken with them at training on Good Friday.

My family drove down from Canberra to attend the training and the game and my Daughter Gaby who is nearly 4 had photo's with Fev, Ratts, Juddy, Murph, Gibbsy just to name a few.

What was even better was that when we opened Saturdays Melbourne Age there was the picture of Juddy holding my daughter Gaby which was a great thrill for us and a great memory to keep.

Not a good result against the Bombers but still a very memorable weekend !

Thankyou Blues........

Terrible isn't it?

All those poor Catholic boys, forced away from their families on the holiest day of the year.

I'm shocked. I thought there'd be a wave of protest from our playing group.

This is a travesty of the highest order!

No no no no

we've been told for years we can't have footy on good friday because of the poor footballers.

WON'T SOMEBODY THINK OF THE FOOTBALLERS?

I'm disgusted by this turn of events. I hope some of our more religious members who have argued vehemently against Good Friday football get down to the club first thing tomorrow morning and demand an explanation.

It's just terrible - I'd even say it's an abuse of human rights.
