Probably means that we wont pick the Berger with No. 1. I always expected the club to go for the best available experienced ruckman. Can't go into the season without one. Unfortunately he was probably the best available. Also assume that the club found that no rally good players in general are availble in PSD (assume they did their homework and sounded a lot of players out which were out of contract). |

Apparently they just photocopied the Dylan McLaren press release from last year, whited out McLaren's name and put in Ackland's. That way they didn't have to go to the trouble of drafting a new press release

I would imagine one of the "backup" rucks would have to be be delisted now, wouldnt they ? ( ie Bryan). Obviously there is going to be nothing left in the PSD if we have commited this early, seems bloody strange. |

Christ... I guess McPhee isn't nominating... With that in mind it's a reasonable move... looking over all the delistings by other clubs it's doubtful there'll be an Eddie Betts-type situation. |
