I've got heaps of Carlton stuff that I've been trying to sort through....the trouble is....I start reading it all and get nothing done!

I've got all of the Newspapers and Magazines covering our Premierships from 1968 onwards.

In the "Footyweek" of September 28, 1970; I found this almost front on shot of Jezza's immortal mark over Graeme Jenkin, John Greening (22) and Denis O'Callaghan.....Enjoy!

And I've just found this pic from The Sun of Grand Final week 1970.

Yes!.....Jezza was happy!

Top stuff Warbs.

How good's the vodka shot? Imagine if anyone did that now - there'd be an uproar!

Times certainly have changed...

Love the paisley tie, that is soooo 1970, .... and that bottle of Johnnie Wlaker would be worth a bit more than $4.65 these days.

Do you mind if these pictures get uploaded to 'you know where' warby?

I think prefer the days when number 25 held up a bottle of Smirnoff.

I've just found another angle of the mark, and an article in "The Sun" on October 5 1970; showing the differing pics taken by the 3 press photographers at the game.

I'll put them up tomorrow.

Warby, are you able to "descreen" the scans (they may need to be rescanned) to remove the moiré? They'll look heaps better if you can.

Yes; I probably could....it occurred to me too but....I just haven't got the time to spend on them.

I'm pleased to have at least got them up on the site.....I have a very interesting Photographic Article from the Sun of October 5-1970;

showing how the 3 Sun Cameramen each took the mark....I'm hopeful of putting that and yet another shot of the mark up within the next hour.

Great stuff, Warby.

Which one of the three do you think is the best?

I like the far right one as he appears higher up in the air in that one.

p.s - Vandelay Industries - I like it.
