Why would he be?

He's already committed to the job here for another two years (worst luck).

It's all a matter of timing. Our board meeting was immediately after Round 22 and Thomas had his decision made for him after the 1EF ... Even if it had been the other way around it I'm sure it would have been the same result

On the other hand, why would he want to stay with a Board that doesn't want him, player's who don't want him and ex-player's who are willing to pay from their own pockets to get rid of him. Together with getting all thye assistant's he probably doesn't want. On top of that a new Board, if that occurs later in the year (a fair chance), would ditch him anyway. Then there's the Saints here are on the verge of a flag compared to the rabble that is us. The choice would surely be a no-brainer If I was in his position I'd jump at it if someone from St.Kilda wanted to talk to me.
